LNG iso tank containers are specialized containers designed for storing and transporting liquefied natural gas (LNG). They combine the functionality of pressure vessels with the standardized transportation advantages of containers. They are suitable for multiple modes of transportation, including water, road, and rail, enabling seamless multimodal transport.
Efficient Multimodal Transport: Easily transitions between water, road, and rail transport, eliminating the need for cargo transshipment. This significantly improves logistics efficiency and reduces transportation costs.
Flexible and Convenient: The tank container can be separated from the trailer, allowing for greater flexibility in deployment. It can also be used as a liquid storage tank at emergency supply stations to meet temporary or remote gas supply needs.
Large-Capacity Design: Standard sizes, such as a 40-foot container, can hold up to 45 cubic meters and hold a maximum LNG load of approximately 17,250 kg, meeting large-volume transport needs.
Excellent Thermal Insulation: Utilizing high-vacuum multi-layer insulation technology, the container maintains heat for extended periods of time. For example, some brands of LNG tank containers can maintain heat for up to 90 days, effectively reducing LNG evaporation losses.
Safe and Reliable: Equipped with a real-time monitoring system, it monitors key parameters such as tank pressure, temperature, and liquid level. Fire, leak, and explosion protection devices are also included, and emergency shut-off devices are installed on both the gas and liquid loading and unloading pipelines to ensure safe transportation.

40-foot LNG tank container: Maximum allowable operating pressure 0.8 MPa, design temperature -196°C, rated fill factor 90%, dimensions 12,192 × 2,438 × 2,591 mm, design service life 20 years.
20-foot LNG tank container: Weight 17,000 kg, empty mass 7,320 kg, dimensions 6,058 × 2,438 × 2,591 mm, design pressure 0.8 MPa, full volume 21 cubic meters.
